AND WELCOME TO ALEX BAY !!!My Wife Amy and I are the new owners of the Alexandria Bay Lodge as of April 2009. The business (formally called the North Star) was a family run property for over 20 years and then was sold, but for the last ten years it has had absentee ownership and thus became lacking in T.L.C. As life long residents of Alex Bay, we are committed to restoring the reputation of this motel by giving it the tender loving care it deserves. Our entire staff is very excited about having on site management and ownership again and many tasks have already been completed to improve the rooms and the appearance of the property. Since we began operating the property, we have completely or partially renovated: 30 Rooms, The Pool & Deck Area, 6 Floating Docks, The Office and New Lobby/Social Area, Renovations Within The Restaurant, New Carpet, Siding & Roofs on Renovated Rooms, 40 New Air Conditioners, 25 New TV's, 40 New Beds & Bed Spreads, AND IT DOESN'T END THERE !!!! We appreciate everyone that has stayed with us and are grateful for the reservations to come this summer. We are committed to re-investing the revenues into the property until all the rooms are upgraded over the next two years. We invite you to come stay with us and would love to have you do so. We have mid week specials and will beat anyone's price on a comparable motel in Alex Bay.
